Dentures

Full Dentures

Full dentures are for patients who have no teeth at all. They come in single plates, or full sets. There are two qualities of full dentures to chose from:

  • Premium Denture-- Medium-grade model. Our most common selection.
  • Luxury Denture-- Top quality model with the longest lifespan.

Steps for making full dentures

  1. At your first appointment, we will make an impression, or mold of your gums along with any existing teeth.
  2. After the impression, some--but not all--patients will need to come back for a wax rim appointment. This is so we can be sure how long the teeth in your dentures need to be.
  3. The next appointment is the wax try-in. You will come in to try on sample dentures made of wax, to make sure you like the look and feel of them before we start making the real dentures. We will remake the wax as many times as necessary, and once you have approved it, we will proceed to make the real dentures.
  4. At your final appointment, you will come in to get fitted with your completed dentures. They should look and feel like your approved wax try-in.
  5. All new dentures come with free adjustments, up to 30 days after you first walk out with your dentures. If your dentures are rubbing uncomfortably against your gums, it is likely that you need an adjustment. Call us to schedule an adjustment appointment.
